IslandFIT

Ages 10 and up

ISLAND-FIT is a Polynesian style exotic cardio workout program, designed to strengthen and tone your legs, glutes, abs and arms. It combines fast (O’tea) and slow (Hula) movements that tone and sculpt the body using cardio fitness to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. This dance fitness style is exhilarating and effective at all levels. Island-FIT is an exotic fitness workout that appeals to all age groups.

 

Tahitian Basics

Ages 5 and up

Learn Tahitian basics at your level. Each class breaks down the movements in an easy-to-understand way. Then, it is up to you to take it up a notch to add your finesse or simply burn more calories to get yourself beach body ready.

 

Tahiti Sweeties​

Ages 18 and up

Learn the slow, sexy, moves from the Tahitian ahuroa style of dance. You will not only tone your body and strengthen your core, but you will learn how to find your inner diva and break down the walls of inibitions. A safe environment of sisterhood, with a supportive teacher who shows you all the tips and tricks to help you find your own style.

Maori Poi

Ages 7 and up

The POI was used, many years ago, by the indigenous Maori warriors of New Zealand to increase their flexibility and strength in their hands and arms as well as improving coordination for battle. Wahine (female) dancers perform the Maori POI, a dance performed with balls attached to flax strings, swung rhythmically. Get an intense arm workout with your choice of weights. You can use poi balls, flags, fire poi and more. Learn spins, tricks, and coordination while burning and toning your arms.
